Italian Dinner

 Saturday October 20th à 6:00 – 9:30 pm

Ristorante Fellowship Hall!

Amore, cibo e canzone!

     (trans: Love, dinner and song!)

Reserve early, you don’t want to miss this!

On Saturday night, October 20th, Fellowship Hall will be gaily transformed into an Italian Ristorante offering a delicious 4-course meal and entertainment by the incredible Charlie Grindle.

Our Italian-themed menu offers something delicious for everyone: antipasti & salad at each table and a buffet of 3 entrees -- chicken piccata (chicken breasts in a delicate sauce w/lemon & capers), baked shells (stuffed w/cheeses & spinach in a robust marinara), and sausage and homemade (of course!) meatballs. Special sides will include Italian oven-roasted potatoes, buttered-parmesan linguine, au gratin artichoke hearts, and roasted sweet pepper, zucchini & eggplant medley. Dinner will be followed by a selection of Italian desserts and fresh fruit. Care has been taken to provide a menu with gluten-free & vegetarian options.

Charlie Grindle is an ordained interfaith minister, a founder of SAGE, board-certified chaplain, and serves as minister & music director at several UU & non-denominational Christian churches in Maine. Charlie wasn’t always a man of the cloth; he jokes that for most of his life he was more at home in Speedos or Tuxedoes than pulpit robes and stoles. Charlie was born in Ellsworth, ME, and his first job at the age of 7 was playing piano at the church where his family worshipped for generations. His musical career has taken him from coast-to-coast, LA to Boston, and to Europe. Among other degrees, certifications & awards, he holds a Master’s in Fine Arts. He considers himself a terrible cellist & mediocre euphonist -- but admits to a talent for making people happy and boisterous with his piano music -- which is his favorite ministry.

If possible, please commit early & consider reserving a whole table. We’re limiting the evening to 60 guests. We’ll set 10 round tables for 6 guests each. The cost of a ticket to this delicious 4-course meal, which includes entertainment by Charlie is only $15/person (please reserve with Nancy 872-8976).

Where can you enjoy a night like this for $15/person? Nowhere but Ristorante Fellowship Hall!
