4-H Science Special for kids: Understanding Your Pet

November 21, 2015, 12:30 PM2:00 PM

Free

Animals experience the world in vastly different ways than humans. Have you ever stopped to wonder how different it could possibly be? Have you ever wondered why animals act in certain ways? What are animals likely to do when they face danger?

Find out the answers to all these questions and more when you explore Animal Science with University of Southern Maine’s 4-H STEM Ambassadors.

This is a 3-part program on 11/21, 11/28 and 12/5 from 12:30-2:30.

The program is geared toward youth grades 2-5, though all ages 5 and up are welcome. An adult must accompany any participant under the age of 10.

Preregistration is required and space is limited, so call today or fill out this form to reserve your space!

For more information or to request a disability accommodation, contact Sarah Sparks of Kennebec Co. 4-H at 1-800-287-1458 to discuss needs at least 10 days in advance.
