Passionate about the river, fish, or the ocean? Come make a mini river life "aquarium" in the Castonguay Square with us! We'll use glass mason jars, and recycled and found materials to recreate the beauty of our favorite waterways in miniature form.

Art in the Park, a program of Common Street Arts is designed to foster creativity and community among residents and visitors to Waterville.  Art in the Park is a free, weekly program that takes place in Castonguay Square during the months of June, July, and August.  Castonguay Square is downtown Waterville’s central greenspace and serves as a gathering place for concerts, a weekly farmers’ market, among other community social activities.

Art in the Park takes place each Thursday and works with area teaching artists to develop unique arts programming–providing accessible workshops and special family-friendly activities for community members to engage in creative practices that relate to ongoing exhibitions at Common Street Arts, as well as related programs at the Maine Film Center, Colby Museum of Art, Waterville Public Library and Waterville Opera House.
