CareerCenter Services Workshop

February 18, 2015, 2:00 PM4:00 PM

The Maine Department of Labor's CareerCenters have many resources to offer job seekers and employers. The MDOL CareerCenter’s primary focus is to help facilitate, educate, prepare, and connect those seeking employment with employers needing “job-ready employees”. This two hour orientation of MDOL CareerCenter Services will provide an overview of all available programs and resources that can be found at your local CareerCenters including the Maine Job Bank, the Competitive Skills Scholarship, Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Workforce Investment Act, as well as addressing eligibility requirements associated with some of these programs. If you are or know someone who could use assistance in preparing for, seeking, securing, and/or maintaining employment please come to this valuable information session at the Waterville Public Library on February 18th from 2p-4p to learn how the Maine Department of Labor CareerCenters help those seeking employment.

To ensure adequate seating, registration is requested. Please call 680-2603 or stop by the Information Services Desk at the Library to sign-up

For more information, please contact Peter Diplock, Career Center Manager, Augusta CareerCenter at 624-5183/Peter.D.Diplock@Maine.gov or Tammy Rabideau, Waterville Public Library Business & Career Center Coordinator at 680-2611/trabideau@watervillelibrary.org.
