Community Forum on the Opioid Crisis

February 28, 2019, 6:30 PM

Free

Our community is deeply impacted by the lack of available treatment, overdose deaths, and families in crisis because of problematic drug use.

Please join us to learn about new recommendations from the Maine Coalition for Sensible Drug Policy, and local opportunities to get involved, including Waterville Police Department’s Operation Hope.

Speakers include: director of Opioid Response for the state of Maine Gordon Smith, Waterville Police Chief Joseph Massey, representatives of the Maine Coalition for Sensible Drug Policy, and impacted families.

Sponsored by the Maine Drug Policy Lab at Colby College & the Maine Coalition for Sensible Drug Policy
