Charles D’Ambrosio is the recipient of a Whiting Award and a Lannan Fellowship and is the author of two collections of short stories, The Point and The Dead Fish Museum, which was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award, and two essay collections, Orphans and Loitering. He teaches in the M.F.A. program at the Iowa Writers Workshop at the University of Iowa.
