Don Campbell: An Evening of Dan Fogelberg Music

August 13, 2018, 7:30 PM

$20

Don Campbell is a singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music is inspired by sources as diverse as the Celtic and Canadian Maritimes music of his family to Dan Fogelberg, Vince Gill, the Beatles and novelist, Stephen King. Writing in genres including adult contemporary, country, Celtic, Christmas, bluegrass, and rock, Don has released 12 CDs, most recently a two-disc, 23-song collection, Kites To Fly: Celebrating The Music Of Dan Fogelberg.

Co-based in Portland, Maine and Nashville, TN, Don averages between 150-200 performances per year primarily with the New England-based Don Campbell Band and smaller ensembles, including the nationally touring Restless Campbells. Don released a new original adult contemporary project, The Dust Never Settles, in 2014.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dan Fogelberg was a multi-platinum selling artist, with hits such as "Leader of the Band", "Longer", "Same Old Lang Syne" and a large and diverse catalog of over 20 albums. He passed away in 2007 after a three year battle with prostate cancer.

Admission: $20. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a cash bar at this event.
