Falls Prevention Seminar

September 23, 2015, 10:00 AM11:00 AM

Fall is just around the corner, but falls shouldn't be for older adults. While falls are the leading cause of both fatal and nonfatal injury for people 65 years and older, they are not an inevitable part of aging. September 23 is the Eighth Annual Fall Prevention Awareness Day. Help keep seniors safe! Take a Stand to Prevent Falls! See how you can get involved.

This seminar is for anyone who has concerns about falling. Age related changes that increase the risk for falling will be explored, as well as home modifications and basic exercise movements. Spectrum Generations is here to help you maintain your health, increase strength and improve flexibility.
