Food from the Past
July 11, 2015
We will be having a special event to celebrate how our ancestors held social events around food:
- At 10 a.m., we will make and taste homemade donuts.
- At 11 a.m., we will have an old-fashioned taffy pull. Come and see taffy made and help with the pulling and eating.
- At 1 p.m., we will make ice cream. Help with the cranking and eating.
- Tours of the house and carriage house will be held on the half hour from 9:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Antique donut holders will be for sale.
Reservations are appreciated, but not mandatory. Call Fairfield History House on Tuesdays.
