Frottages and Live Pond Animals

July 8, 2021, 3:00 PM5:00 PM

Free

Frottage is the process of making art from rubbing a crayon or pencil over a textured surface. If you have done a leaf rubbing, you have done a frottage! We will create unique patterns and textures similar to the bumps on a frog’s skin as we explore pond creatures with biologist Greg LeClair. The Waterville Public Library will provide a reading of Over and Under the Pond by Kate Messner, illustrated by Christopher Silas Neal.
