The Capital Area New Mainers Project is a cross-cultural organization that welcomes immigrants and works to create a thriving, integrated, multicultural community in central Maine. Based in Augusta, CANMP cultivates personal relationships between New Mainers and "old" Mainers, meets immigrant needs, and educates the broader community about the challenges that immigrants face and the benefits they bring to our area.

He and his wife live in Hallowell and have three children. One or more new Mainers will also be part of the program.
