Intermediate Wheel Class

This six-week pottery class is perfect for the individual with wheel throwing and centering clay experience who would like to further refine their skills. In this class, students will build upon basic pottery skills including building and throwing forms, creating more complex vessels including but not limited to, large bowls, dinner plates, lidded vessels, stacked and altered wheel forms. Bring your ideas and sketches to use as a place of departure.

The class fee includes a 25 pound bag of clay, all glazes needed, and kiln firings during the class period. Each student can access the studio 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m on weekends, except when other scheduled classes are in session.

The class starts on August 21 and continues on Wednesday evenings through September 25. Basic pottery/clay experience necessary. Registration required. Cost: $175. Limit: 6 students
