Lebanese Public Supper
May 22, 2022, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Enjoy authentic Lebanese cuisine: cooked kibbe, cabbage rolls, grape leaves, loubia (green beans in a tomato base) served alone and/or over rice, green salad, Syrian bread, and a cupcake for dessert. You can dine in or order take-out. Full size meal is $15.00 and Luncheon size meal is $10.00. You can order early your Take-Out online, so your meal will be ready for pickup upon your arrival. Online orders will be taken online until close of business Friday, May 20. If you dine in, there will be coffee, tea, lemonade, and water offered for beverages. Free meals for Children Under the Age of 6 are only available as dine in.
The Lebanese Public Suppers started in 1927 and were served at the Elks Club when it was located on Appleton Street. Only when construction of St. Joseph's church was completed in 1950 did the suppers move to the parish hall. So come and enjoy the good food and company and become part of one of Waterville's rich traditions. Food will be served until we run out; you can still order take-out at the parish hall on Sunday if available.
