Lighthouse Keeper

July 14, 2017, 11:00 AM11:45 AM

Free

Lighthouse Keeper is an interactive work based on the true story of Abbie Burgess, a courageous young girl who lived in Maine in the 19th century. This interactive piece is written by Delvyn Case for children and families and will be performed by the Cassatt String Quartet with guest narrator Anna Gravel. The story paints an exciting musical portrait of life on an island, the shifting ocean, majestic lighthouses, raging storms, and even silly dancing puffins. Bring a blanket to sit on and come have some fun!

This concert is organized in conjunction with Lively Spaces Summer Camp.
