Musical Inspiration: Colby Symphony Orchestra

Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition brilliantly portrays the characters and moods inspired by ten paintings by Victor Hartmann featured in an 1874 exhibition at the Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg. The program also features Schubert’s delightful Overture to Rosamunde and Weber’s virtuosic Clarinet Concerto.

With Jinwook Park, director, and Eric Thomas, clarinet soloist.
