Rural Innovation Community Gathering

January 22, 2020, 5:30 PM7:00 PM

Free

Central Maine Growth Council was recently selected as one of 10 communities in the U.S. to join the 2020 Rural Innovation Initiative, which helps communities utilize their own unique assets to build a digital economy based on technology, innovation, and quality of place.

Officials from the Initiative and the US. Economic Development Administration will conduct a site visit next week - this is our opportunity to showcase our region, its people, and its opportunities for growth.

We invite you to share your perspective and goals for mid-Maine's future at our informal community gathering. Come mingle with the Rural Innovation Initiative team and let them know why Waterville and the mid-Maine region is so special and share with them what you and/or your organization are doing to help our economy grow.

As a business owner, non-profit leader, resident, entrepreneur, civic official, or member of our talented workforce, you are an important part of the success of our region and we would love to include you!
