November 8, 2018, 7:00 PM

Free

Join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary Die Arier/The Aryans (2014) followed by a conversation and Q&A with acclaimed Afro-German filmmaker Mo Asumang. Following a death threat, Asumang sets out to confront racists face to face. In her documentary about right-wing movements worldwide, Asumang embarks on a journey into the madness of racism and meets German neo-Nazis, America’s most notorious racist, Tom Metzger, and members of the KKK in the Midwest.

Cosponsored by the Center for the Arts and Humanities, Jewish Studies, Cinema Studies, Global Studies, History, German and Russian, the Pugh Center, and the Cultural Events Committee.
