The Birds

September 21, 2017, 7:15 PM

Alfred Hitchcock scored a huge hit with his creepy 1963 film based on a Daphne du Maurier story, which Hitchcock himself called “the most terrifying picture I have ever made.” A chic San Francisco socialite envisions romance and a beautiful escape  to nature when she pursues an erstwhile boyfriend to a small Northern California coastal village…only to find herself—and everyone else—under attack by rampaging wild birds. (PG-13, 119 min.)

Before the film, visit Art in the Park for a hands-on art activity sponsored by Waterville Creates from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Sponsored by The Colby College Museum of Art and Colby College Cinema Studies.
