Director and Waterville native Regis Tremblay introduces The Ghosts Of Jeju

Free and Open To All!

Waterville born and bred, documentarian Regis Tremblay returns to introduce the first theatrical showing of The Ghosts Of Jeju, his shocking film about the people of Jeju Island, South Korea. Set in the context of the American presence in Korea after World War II, the film reveals horrible atrocities at the hands of the U.S. military government of Korea in the postwar period, treatment that continues to the present day. Yet Tremblay’s film focuses on the indomitable spirit of the villagers and their supporters.  (Unrated, 81 min.)

Sponsored by Maine Veterans For Peace.
