FOR THE 2019 CAMPAIGN KICK OFF!

We will be doing things a little differently this year, and adding a CANstruction contest to our kick off festivities.

We encourage workplace campaigns to put together a team and enter a CANstruction sculpture into the contest. Our goal is to collect over 5,000 pounds of food for the largest one-day Central Maine food drive!

We will start the day with the teams working on their CANstruction (spectators are welcome).

At 3:00, we will break to announce Pacesetters’ results and have a few non-profit speakers, and announce the winners of the CANstruction! The community is invited to join in on all or part of the day, there will be a time from about 2:30-3:00 to vote on their favorite sculpture.

The finished sculptures will be on display at The Elm during the Kick Off festivities. Kick Off attendees will be able to vote for their favorite sculpture! All the collected food items will be distributed to food pantries throughout Somerset, Northern Kennebec, and Western Waldo County.

CANstruction Rules:
