Varieties of Textual Experience

Varieties of Textual Experience is a one-day symposium with scholars from across the humanities to discuss the role of the material text in their research and scholarly practice. Papers will cover a wide range of topics and we will include Colby faculty scholars Anita Savo (Spanish), Ben Lisle (American Studies), and Sarah Watkins (History). The symposium runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and all events are open to the public. A full schedule is available online.

Supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship in Critical Bibliography at the Rare Book School, Colby’s Center for the Arts and Humanities, and the Department of English.
