Waterville Community Litter Cleanup

September 15, 2018, 11:00 AM1:00 PM

Free

Please join us for a community litter cleanup to help beautify Waterville. We will meet at 11:00 a.m. outside Waterville City Hall in Castonguay Square. Trash bags and rubber gloves will be provided for free. We will fan out and cleanup Head of Falls, the Concourse, and Main Street. After the cleanup, please join us for a brief press conference in Castonguay Square in support of our efforts to ban plastic bags at big box stores in Waterville at the polls on November 6. We will display all the plastic shopping bags we found during the cleanup on a big tarp to demonstrate this litter problem and why we need to take action. Hope to see you there!
