SUMMARY:Report from the West Bank: An International Observer’s Perspective
DESCRIPTION:A local Maine educator will share her experience from her recent trip to the West Bank as a volunteer with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM).  Moriah will be joining us to speak about her observations and first-hand experience as an observer in Masafer Yatta\, an area of 20 small villages in the mountains of the West Bank. She will share with us video footage and her reflections on the developing situation\, and speak about her experience observing and documenting daily life in that community. \nThe talk will be held Monday\, March 9th at Noon at the Chace Forum in downtown Waterville! \nThe Mid-Maine Global Forum will be providing cookies and coffee for the event. BYO lunch is welcome!
