SUMMARY:Runaway Princess by Mary Goggin
DESCRIPTION:The Playhouse At Waterville Station is proud to present Mary Goggin’s award-winning one-woman show\, “Runaway Princess”\, written by Mary Goggin and directed by Dan Ruth. \nRunaway Princess is a hopeful tale of heroin\, hooking and happiness\, which audiences and reviewers describe as “riveting”\, “gripping”\, “brutal yet spellbinding”\, “beautiful\, vulnerable\, and powerful”\, and in the end “I left the playing space with happiness in my heart”. \nIn Runaway Princess\, a Hopeful Tale of Heroin\, Hooking and Happiness\, former New York City call girl Mary Goggin shares the award-winning story of her traumatic Bronx Irish Catholic upbringing\, alcoholism\, drug addiction and prostitution. The multitude of characters that she encountered on her journey from utter darkness to absolute joy\, spring to life in this one-woman tour de force\, all told with dark humor\, unflinching honesty and unsentimental pathos. \nEvery performance will be followed by a 'talk-back' Q&A session with the performer\, facilitated by Elizabeth Rich-Colton. \nYou do not want to miss this powerful story of redemption and happiness! \nMore information is available at https://runawayprincessplay.com \ntickets
