DESCRIPTION:Two Performances: Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 3:00 \nDirected by Dr. Jinwook Park\, the Colby Symphony Orchestra\, the Choirs at Colby\, and invited soloists celebrate the close of Colby's concert season by performing Giuseppi Verdi’s operatic\, epic Requiem. The program also includes Franz Schubert’s Overture “In the Italian Style\,” in D major\, D. 26\, inspired by Gioachino Rossini and written by the young composer in hopes of receiving an operatic commission from a Viennese theater. This concert will also celebrate the student winner of the annual Music Department Concerto Competition. \nAdmission is free\, but reservations are recommended.\nRESERVE TICKETS
