Parade of Lights is Back!

Downtown Waterville’s annual holiday event is BACK and this year we are happy to announce that Winslow will be joining the team to extend the parade to both sides of the river! This annual event has drawn thousands of families for many years and serves as a fun and festive kickoff to the holiday season. What better time of the year to get together and show our community spirit and support for one another! We invite you to participate.
The Children’s Discovery Museum is excited to be collaborating with the city of Winslow and Waterville to host this wonderful event.
The 2022 Parade of Lights will be held on Saturday, November 26, at 6pm. Floats will assemble at the Winslow High School, travel down Benton Ave, cross the bridge, travel up Main Street, and end at the Elm/College/Main St crossing. A map will be provided closer to the event. We would like to invite all area schools, businesses, churches, organizations and municipalities to participate in the parade by entering a float, marching band, or other appropriate entry.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in past Parade of Lights celebrations. We are excited to run another great parade!
Thank you to our Grand Marshall Sponsor, Central Maine Motors, as well as Selah Tea, for your support!
Please fill out the registration form no later than November 14th along with a $25 registration fee, which goes back to supporting the event.
If you have any questions or wish to register over the phone, please call or text the Children’s Discovery Museum at 207-956-0334.
