United Way Hiring

United Way of Mid Maine is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Operations Manager.  The successful candidate will maintain the day-to-day operational health of the organization, while also getting involved with event development/program implementation.  The Operations Manager will assist CEO and Development Manager by doing occasional presentations to groups or individuals.

Must have experience in office management including QuickBooks, simple bookkeeping, and accounts receivable and payables.  The Operations Manager must be an outgoing, people person who wants to get involved in our communities and help us strengthen the organization as we help our neighbors in need.

United Way of Mid Maine is a 100% remote organization. The successful candidate would need to be able to set up an efficient, functional office within their home and work successfully from home with equipment supplied by the organization. Although remote, the successful candidate would need to be within a short drive to the Somerset/Northern Kennebec/Waldo county area to easily facilitate travel within the region.
