Businesses have been encouraged to create a fun “construction-themed” window display to attract shoppers to their establishments! As a community let’s #PavetheWay with the Mid-Maine Chamber’s Waterville Works Window Display Contest! A vibrant, decorated Downtown can attract customers by making the area more enjoyable and inviting.
Downtown windows will be on display for residents and visitors to enjoy and vote for their favorite creations, beginning September 1, on the Chambers' Facebook page. Voters can also email their entry to courtney@midmainechamber.com. The photos/businesses with the most "likes" or votes by September 25 will be the winner of the People’s Choice Award. In addition, Mid-Maine Chamber’s Waterville Works group has put together a panel of official judges to really shake things up. Winners will receive $100, $50, and $25 in Chamber Gift Certificates — not to mention bragging rights!
