Winslow Public Library Activities

To-Go Crafts Kits—for Kids and Family Fun!

Here’s a GREAT way to enjoy a fun-filled, themed activity, either just for kids or for the whole family! Each Monday morning, we set to-go craft kits out by the front entrance of the library. All supplies and instructions are included in each paper bag. Pick up your to-go craft bag this week!  Later this summer themes will generally be tied to our Summer Reading Program! (See below.)

Summer Reading Program for Children & Teens

Here is the perfect way to inspire children and teens to read this summer—and gain a life-long love of learning! The theme of this year’s Summer Reading Program is “Imagine Your Story,” which young readers will discover through fantasy, mythology, and imagination-themed activities. Participants will work towards incentives through a challenge-tracker card that will include reading and activity challenges. In this way, youthful participants will be able to earn fun prizes such as free books and comic books throughout the summer. Mostly online, due to the pandemic.
