COVID-19 Vaccine Forum
February 24, 2021, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
FreeMid-Maine Chamber, partnering with Alfond Youth & Community Center, Central Maine Growth Council, Kennebec Valley Council of Governments and KV Connect will feature a virtual informational webinar addressing the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine process. The forum will be held on Zoom from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24.
It is often difficult to navigate the current situation. After nearly a year into the pandemic, everyone is still dealing with the toll of the virus on all aspects of our lives. We all want to move on and get back to the lives we love and to see our community thrive. This forum will address some of the current situation and offer information to those with questions regarding the vaccine rollout and next steps.
Join us as we take questions for, and hear from Dr. Steve Diaz, chief medical officer, MaineGeneral Health; Dr. James Jarvis, physician leader, Incident Command, Northern Light Health; and Lisa Landry, Esq., HR Director, Redington-Fairview General Hospital.
These representatives from health care in the Kennebec Valley will be available to provide an overview of where we are in the pandemic, what hope is on the horizon, employment-related issues and considerations, and what steps we can all take to get beyond the present challenge. Following the briefing by the health care officials, they will address as many questions as time allows. Attendees will be asked to put questions into the chat function once the forum has begun.
This is a virtual Zoom event that is free and open to the public but requires registration. Visit the Mid-Maine Chamber website at www.midmainechamber.com for Zoom registration information.
Health care facilities contributing to the webinar include MaineGeneral Health, Northern Light Inland Hospital, and Redington-Fairview General Hospital.
