$15

Coming to cinemas worldwide from June 20, 2015, the William Shakespeare classic A Midsummer Night’s Dream gets a contemporary makeover from Broadway’s The Lion King director Julie Taymor. With cinematography by Rodrigo Prieto (Argo, Frida) and music by Academy Award-winning composer Elliot Goldenthal, this immersive, inventive cinematic experience was filmed during the production’s sold-out, critically lauded run at Brooklyn’s Theatre For A New Audience. The show boasts a stellar cast, including David Harewood (Homeland, Blood Diamond) as Oberon, Kathryn Hunter (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) as the mischievous Puck, Tina Benko (The Avengers) as Titania and Max Casella (Blue Jasmine) filling the role of Bottom.
