Beginning Clay: Hand-Building

Art of Clay Studio, Paul J. Schupf Art Center, 93 Main Street, Waterville, ME
Join Farmington-based ceramic artist, Cherie Giampietro, for a six-week introduction to hand building. Sculptural projects include birdhouses, garden decorations, slab-built mugs with handles and much more. Students will learn how to make connections by scoring and slipping the clay and will have the opportunity to explore the tools and equipment in the clay studio. Tools, materials, 25-pound bag of clay, glazes, firings, and studio access are included with class registration.

Price: $196 (Price includes a $1 handling fee. A portion of all ticket fees are designated to support the Youth Arts Access Fund. This event is eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund.)
