Guided Exhibition Tour & Reflections on MLK Commemorative Week

The campus-wide closeout of MLK commemorative week, Love  Anger  Transformation, will be a guided tour of the Kelley Collection on display in the Colby Museum of Art, concluding with a reflective activity encompassing the week of events.

The museum is honored to have 23 works from the Harmon and Harriet Kelley Collection on display in its galleries. The Kelleys are San Antonio, Texas-based collectors of African-American art. Over the last 30 years, they have assembled one of the most comprehensive holdings of works by African-American artists from the 19th and 20th centuries.
