Hand Building With Clay

$175Taught by Kate Barnes, this weekly class will explore a wide variety of hand building techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, carving, and decorative surface making. These techniques offer endless possibilities for making everything from functional objects like bowls, vases, and cups to more abstract, figurative or sculptural forms.
This course is open to students at all levels of experience. There is a limit of ten students.
Tuition: $175 for series. (Includes 25 lbs clay, glazes, firing, shelf space, and open studio time.)
This class continues on Monday evenings through July 3.
