Positive Outcomes Through Shared Measures

 

Please JOIN US Tuesday, October 30, 9 am – 3 pm, for the “Health Impacts of Community Conflict” Leadership Training 3 of 4.

 

Location: Colby Chace Forum, 150 Main Street, Waterville (with some breakout sessions and lunch at the REM Community Space). This Leadership Series is focused on how our Central Maine area can become a Region of Solutions through Leading from Within, Together, for Outcomes, for Equity and for Sustainability. OCTOBER 30 Training Objectives are.... 1. To Learn to use and apply these tools: a. Good Group Meeting Practices – With Craig Freshley, of Good Group Decisions b. Power Tools for Community Improvement c. Using Local Data to Make a Difference 2. To put new skills into practice to build a healthier community for all 3. To better connect the story of SELF, to the story of US, to the story of NOW 4. To move forward together

 

This is a non-partisan and non-denominational series... so please come and encourage your friends and family to come... yes, even the ones you find it hardest to connect with these days.

Good Group Practices & Basic Meeting Facilitation - (Colby Chace Forum) Join Craig Freshley from Good Group Decisions for an informative session on best practices in creating an inclusive, open minded, safe gathering for people to use their voices, learn and share.

 

Breakout Choice #1 - Showing Your Value for All to See: Tools for Creating a Value Proposition @ Chace Forum - (Colby Chace Forum) with Matt Guy from Instutitute for Healthcare Improvement, Fran Mullin from Healthy Northern Kennebec, and the Scott McAdoo from Healthy Waterville Action Team

  • Session Description: Learn two simple tools for developing and telling your story of moving from where things are now to their best potential, showing the value of moving from the current view to the better view and why the gap is so important to fill, and how to best connect what folks really need to organizational visions.

Breakout Choice #2 - Power Tools for Community Improvement - (REM Meeting Room) with Kelly LaCasse from Healthy Noerthn Kennebec, Tina Chapman from Kennebec Behavioral Health, and Bridgette Gemelli from Inland Hospital

  • Session Description: Learn 4 key concepts and tools to successfully engage members of your community, co-design an action plan and work together to improve the health of our communities. Welcome the guest presenters from Educare Central Maine, Healthy Waterville Action Team and the Maine Health Access Foundation.

Breakout Choice #3 - Discovering & Using Local Data - (REM Side Conference Room) with Cary Tyson from Kennebec Council of Governments, and Anne Connors from Maine General
