National Trails Day – Let’s Take a Walk
June 3, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
FreeIn these times of discord and differences, Kennebec Messalonskee Trails invites everyone to celebrate National Trails Day, by taking a walk together. We ask only that you put aside, your differences whether they be political, religious, or social or whatever and do what all good people do - which is take a walk together. Bring a friend or even bring a foe but just take a walk and enjoy our beautiful trails through our magnificent piece of Maine.
This is a non-profit, non-sponsored walk with the simple purpose of bringing our community together. We invite all local churches, businesses, police officers, political groups, city councilors, store owners, fitness clubs... anyone who is interested can join free of charge. We'll launch from Fairfield, walk across the mighty Kennebec River, then take a scenic stroll down the Rotary Centennial Trail and back.
We encourage each and every citizen of Greater Waterville and beyond to join us and help celebrate and foster community togetherness! Invite your friends! No fees. No requirement to sign up. Let's Take a Walk!
