Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Program Keynote Address

This year's program celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision through the theme "The Audacity to Dream: The Courage to Act for Justice." Keynote speaker Majora Carter is an urban revitalization specialist, Peabody Award-winning broadcaster, and social-enterprise pioneer. After founding nonprofits Sustainable South Bronx and Green For All, she established consulting company Majora Carter Group, LLC. Her TED talk was one of the first six talks to launch the TED website in 2006. Carter's numerous awards and honors include a MacArthur Fellowship, or "Genius Grant."
