One Acts Showcase

$5 – $10Three student written and directed plays will be performed. The shows are:
- "Henry"
- Featuring an all female cast, “Henry” explores the stories of the six wives of Henry VIII. Katherine Parr has recently married King Henry Tudor and is faced with an impossible decision. Tormented by the stories of his past wives, she needs to find a way to break the silence without being killed.
- "The Bargain"
- This show tells the tale of young Irish immigrant Nora, who has recently traveled across the sea to work as a servant in America. Set in the late 1880s, this is a story of ambition, speaking to the sacrifices, tribulations, and choices often made in order to follow one's dreams in a time where being career minded was a luxury women were not so commonly afforded.
- "The Waiting Room"
- After a gruesome car accident, brothers Park and Cole Jones wake up to a hospital waiting room. At first, all seems normal, but between the eerie secretary, the mysterious curtains, and the constant silence, they discover that all is not as it seems.
