Maine is one of the states hardest hit by the nation’s ongoing opioid crisis, but people across southern Maine are working on the frontlines of this epidemic, saving lives, raising awareness, and developing new solutions. Points North Institute and Maine Health are partnering to organize a statewide tour of Oscar-nominated director Elaine McMillion Sheldon’s Recovery Boys. This free screening will be followed by a community forum featuring local leaders in healthcare, law enforcement, policy making and social services. (Unrated, 89 min.)
