February 21, 2020, 7:20 PM

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 7:20 PM, repeating until February 22, 2020

$6.50 – $9.50

The greatest rock movie of all time, over 40 years after the fact? As a warm-up for the Feb. 28 opening of the excellent new documentary about The Band, Once Were Brothers at Railroad Square, we’re bringing back Martin Scorsese’s nonpareil film of the group’s farewell concert, The Last Waltz for two shows only, in a sparkling and gorgeous looking and sounding digital print, and we plan on playing it loud enough that you can really feel it! Starring The Band, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Emmylou Harris, Van Morrison, Dr. John, Paul Butterfield, Ronnie Hawkins, Ronnie Wood, The Staples Singers, and, for good measure, poets Michael McClure and Lawrence Ferlinghetti.  Bring your ears and your dancin’ feet! (PG, 117 min.)
