The Last Waltz

September 29, 2021, 7:15 PM

$7.50 – $10.50

In a gorgeous-looking and spectacular-sounding new DCP of arguably the greatest rock film ever made, The Last Waltz returns to Railroad Square, where it was the cinema's first hit after it first opened in 1978, in anticipation of the upcoming Waterville Opera House show by The Weight Band, the original Band's touring legacy group. But The Last Waltz, directed by Martin Scorsese, marked the original group's farewell performance — and might just be the greatest assemblage of musicians ever on one stage to play with the group, including Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Van Morrison, The Staples, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Ronnie Hawkins, Ron Wood, Neil Diamond and Ringo Starr.

One ticket holder at The Last Waltz will win a drawing for a free concert ticket before the movie starts.

Regular admission prices apply.

(PG, 117 min., 1978)
