Join the Science, Technology, and Society Program for a presentation by two distinguished researchers. Anita Guerrini, the Horning Professor in the Humanities and Professor of History Emerita at Oregon State University, will discuss extinction and the American mastodon. Mike Osborne, president of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology and professor emeritus of history of Science at Oregon State University portion of the lecture is titled “Mapping the Zika Virus.”
