Vocal Anatomy and Singing Technique Classes
June 28, 2018, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
$150Taught by Shannon Thurston, Vocal Anatomy and Singing Technique Class is designed to give singers and vocalists a better understanding of their vocal mechanism. Though not a one on one voice lesson, vocal anatomy and singing technique will give you the tools to understanding the sounds you make and how to use your voice in all conditions, rehearsals, and styles. We will visit how muscles work for singing, types of breathing techniques, the use of resonance, the use of the tongue, and how psychology can affect your singing voice. There will be 2 class periods per week for 5 weeks. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm and Sundays from 2:00pm-3:30pm.
For singers aged 15 years or older. $150 for all 5 weeks (10 classes).
