REM Delta Prime Robotics Accomplishments

 This is a list of the Robotics Team's activities for October and the first three weeks of November 2014. We hold meetings every Thursday night at 6:30 pm, and are very busy in between.
 
  • Received two sponsor checks totaling $5000, and paid 2015 US FIRST registration fee, Kit of Parts and two District Events.
  • Getting a team together to organize Italian Dinner and Kick Off Reveal on January 3rd
  • Training day at Messalonskee on December 6th

  • Bowling night fundraiser, December 5th, 6-8. Need to make tickets and sell! make baked  goods
  • Sign Up to Volunteer for FLL events (Karen will send link) Saturday, December 13th at Civic Center
  • Doing bottle drive November 15th, two students and a parent make rounds of  neighborhood. Leave flyers wherever you go for  next two drives: November 29th  and January 1st.
  • Safety video: Anna and Ellie need time to get all together. Have characters made.   Deadline  for Safety video December 12th.
  • Chairman’s Award and Woodie Flowers Award teams started working on award  essays.
  • Team attended Robot Rodeo October 18th, sponsored by Gardiner Iron Tigers, Team 4041. Won 1st place for tele-op Robot Dance Off!
  • Four members attended "Lights on After School" with Robot demonstrations at Children's Discovery Museum, Augusta, October 23
  • Held 1st Annual Live Action Role Playing (LARPing) fundraiser event November 8 at Hall-Dale High School. Raised about $770 between admissions and concessions. Nov 9th raised $120.60 at two hour bake sale at Alpha Video in Augusta.
