Join us in welcoming Theo Kalikow as our Leading Women's Luncheon speaker.

Theo Kalikow grew up in Swampscott, Mass. She graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Chemistry, and holds master's and doctoral degrees in philosophy and history of science from MIT and Boston University. She taught for many years at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, serving there as Professor of Philosophy, department chair, and assistant to the President. She also led the faculty union. Her later career as a college and university administrator took her to Colorado, New Hampshire, and Maine. Theo's retirement from the University of Maine at Farmington, where she spent 18 years as President, lasted a few days in June 2012, when she was tapped for a two-year stint as President of the University of Southern Maine. Theo is spending this year as Interim Vice Chancellor for the University of Maine System, and might even retire in June of 2015.

Registration for the event is $20 for Mid-Maine Chamber members until May 29, 2015 and $25 general admission, which includes admission and luncheon buffet. Space is limited, so pre-registration is preferred.
