We tour Ella Fitzgerald’s musical life, from her audition at the Apollo Theater to her work at the helm of the Chick Webb Band, and give a special nod to her Live in Berlin album. “A Tisket A Tasket,” “Black Coffee,” “Angel Eyes,” “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love,” “Mack the Knife,” and other classic tunes will be featured. We’ll also touch on hits from Nelson Riddle, Ray Brown, Joe Pass, the Duke, and the Count, and some of the other artists she influenced.
