$10Join us for the world premiere of James White an award-winning independent movie that rocked this year’s Sundance Film Festival. This pre-release screening will take place throughout the country and will feature a captured-live Q&A with writer/director Josh Mond who will be chatting with Rolling Stone movie critic Peter Travers, alongside stars Cynthia Nixon (Sex And The City) and Christopher Abbot From HBO’s Girls.
James White also won awards at the Locarno and Deauville Film Festivals and is a coming-of-age story about a young New Yorker struggling to take control of his reckless, self-destructive behavior in the face of momentous family challenges.
PLEASE NOTE: The event begins at 7:00 p.m. with a half hour pre-show featuring information about the NY Film Critics Series, introductory remarks and other exclusive content. The film will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by the Q&A.
Tickets: $12, or $10 for Maine Film Center members.
