|Recurring Event (See all)
On the first and third Wednesdays of every month.
$15

Starting in January!
Open Drawing / Painting
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the Month!

Seasoned and aspiring visual artists are invited to participate in a newly expanded Common Street Arts program dedicated to drawing, painting, and sculpting. The first Wednesday of every month, we'll draw, paint or sculpt the nude, and every third Wednesday of the month, you'll capture the poses of local "celebrities" in costume. Sessions are open to all levels of experience and are without formal instruction. All are welcome. No previous experience necessary!

First Wednesdays: Life Drawing / Painting with Nude Model
Practice drawing and/or painting the human figure. Develop and refine your artistic skills while working from a model holding poses of varying lengths.
Third Wednesdays: The Clothes Make the Model
Draw and/or paint a local "celebrity" wearing one of the many wonderful costumes owned by the Waterville Opera House. Models and costumes will vary each month.

The cost is $15 per session per person, or you can purchase a Common Street Arts Studio Punch Card, a $60 value for only $50! The CSA punch card is valid for ANY educational offering at Common Street Arts. Cards can be purchased online

Participants bring their media of choice: charcoal, pastels, paints, clay, etc. Common Street Arts provides art horses and chairs. All sessions are held at Common Street Arts. For more information, call: 207-872-ARTS or email info@commonstreetarts.org.

Pre-registration is not required but encouraged! Register here. For more information, visit the Common Street Arts website.
