Mary Poppins Auditions
November 14, 2015 – November 15, 2015
Colorful and imaginative, Mary Poppins follows the story of a nanny employed by a wealthy Edwardian-era English banker and his wife to look after their out-of-control children Jane and Michael. Such is the remarkable character of Marry Poppins that magic and adventure soon follow as rewards for the children's good behavior. Mary Poppins the musical takes you through the streets and rooftops of an Edwardian-era industrial London while centering on the problems of the Banks family. The story has an underlining message regarding family values and is brought out through the dynamic adventures of the children and their 'perfect' nanny. These adventures are essentially brought to life through the introduction of a number of colorful characters. Bert, a cheery working class chimney sweep is perhaps the most prominent and rescues the children from their exploration of the working class slums of East London.
