Noon: Water Rescue Demonstration by the Waterville Fire Department
Location: North Street Launch
A “victim” was spotted in a kayak caught in debris in the Messalonskee Stream. After studying the current, WFD members will deploy a rapid inflatable boat to ensure a quick, safest choice rescue. Equipment on display includes jet ski, boat, and ATV.
